About PhysioCare Holistics

Welcome to PhysioCare Holistics. My name is Simone and I am the director of PhysioCare Holistics. I have been working as a physiotherapist for 25 years now, working as a specialist in oncology and palliative care for almost 17 years. My experience covers all areas of general rehabilitation, medical and surgical physiotherapy and women's health. I also have experience providing specialist physiotherapy to patients receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy, have previously worked as a Macmillan specialist physiotherapist out in the community and have spent many years working in hospice care. My love for all things holistic led me to becoming qualified in a range of holistic therapies including aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki, massage, tibetan head massage, manual lymphatic drainage and reflexology lymph drainage, and it seemed only natural to merge the two together to create PhysioCare Holistics.

My passion for working with families affected by a life limiting illness comes from both personal experience and work experience. My dad lived courageously with cancer for the last few years of his life and my gorgeous sister had been living with cancer for 13 years since the birth of son, before she sadly passed away earlier this year. As a family we learnt how important it is to make every day special and magical. I have spent the last 17 years working at an amazing local hospice, and now work part time at The Christie Hospital. My aim each and every day is to encourage clients to live well, do the things that are important to them and always create magical and precious moments that will be cherished forever.

I describe myself as one of those people who never sits still! As mummy to 2 gorgeous little boys life is always busy. Alongside PhysioCare Holistics and working at the hospital, you may also bump into me working the occasional weekend shift at The Alexandra Hospital, teaching antenatal and postnatal FitBack and Bumps sessions, and I also run a children’s tepee hire business creating magical slumber parties and cosy hideaways for children at weddings and events. Teepee Delight was actually initially set up to create magical memories and precious moments for families living with life limiting illness. I wasn’t joking, life is super busy…....but I love it this way.

PhysioCare Holistics offers both physiotherapy and holistic therapies. Assessment and treatment is available either in the comfort of your own home, or a clinic environment. I am extremely passionate about what I do and always aim to provide a holistic, hands on and individualised approach to your healthcare, to support you to reach your goals and improve your quality of life. Physiotherapy aims to maintain and improve physical health, promote mobility, independence and wellbeing. I am able to help you to improve or manage the symptoms of a variety of medical conditions. Alongside this I offer a specialist physiotherapy service to patients who are living with cancer or other life limiting illness, from diagnosis to palliative care.

If you feel PhysioCare Holistics may be able to make a positive change to your life then please get in touch for more information.
